Blade Runner cityscape concept by Syd Mead. Could be the only one painting from preproduction that shows cityscape during the day. However the concept is never used for various reasons. One of them is: not enough money to develop day scenes that will actually work and follow the distopyan concept of the movie.
I’m pretty sure this is from preproduction sketches for a CBS tv show that never made it to production called “LA 15” from the late 80’s (set in Los Angeles, 2015 if I remember. It’s all too clean. I could be wrong, but that’s my impression.

The Star Trek Experience was a Las Vegas attraction with rides, a bar, someone licensed to perform weddings, and more. It closed in 2008, but while it was open this place was basically the Mecca of Star Trek fans.
